Mel B 2007-ben kezdett el dolgozni harmadik albumán, amikor az ABC slágerével, a Dancing with the Stars-szal meghódította Amerikát. Arra számított, hogy az album 2008 végére elkészül. 2008 szeptemberében még mindig nem adtak ki semmit, a People magazinnak azt nyilatkozta, hogy az album „elég jól megy”.
2008 októberében kiszivárgott az internetre a „Whose Is It?” című dal, amelyről azt pletykálták, hogy az album vezető kislemeze. 2009-ben, a The News Of The Worldnek adott interjújában Mel B elárulta, hogy már tíz dalt írt az albumhoz, és hogy nem sokáig csinálja, mert meg akarja találni a számára legjobb hangzást. Ugyanebben az évben források elárulták, hogy az album címe Reimagined lesz.
2010-ben Mel B bemutatkozott producereknek Los Angelesben a Mel B It's a Scary Life valóságshow-jában, és előadott egy új dalt, a „Lip Lock”-ot. Aztán elárulta, hogy nem fogja kislemezként kiadni, mert „jobb dalai vannak”. 2013-ban kiadta első kislemezét 8 év után, a „For Once In My Life”-ot, lemezkiadó nélkül. Egy évvel később lemezszerződést írt alá az EMI-vel.
Azóta nem jelent meg új album vagy kislemez.
2025-ben Mel B állítólag egy új albumon dolgozik, egy Instagram-rajongói fiók szerint 2026-os megjelenést jelentett be. Egy másik forrás azonban megerősítette, hogy a stúdióban van, és saját anyagot ír., de a megjelenési dátum még nem ismert, és a projekt folyamatban van. Hivatalos megjelenési dátumot vagy albumcímet még nem jelentettek be.

Valaki a Wikipédia portugál oldalán közzétett egy feltételezett számlistát a Reimagined albumról, és azt írta, hogy Danja (az Absolute-ból) producer megelőzte a projektet. A forrás szerint Danja azért késleltette Madonna Hard Candy albumának gyártását, hogy Mel B albumát producálja, mert Timbaland, Mel B barátja fedezte fel. Az album hangzása hasonló lenne a Pink és a Destiny's Child albumaihoz.
A számlistát és Danja adatait soha nem erősítették meg, és más forrásban sem találták meg.
*KISLEMEZEK*
WHOSE IS IT A dal eredetileg Mel B harmadik stúdióalbumán, a Reimagined-en jelent volna meg.
A „Whose Is It?”, gyakran „Who’s Is It?”-ként írva, egy kiadatlan dal Mel B harmadik albumáról, a Reinmagined-ről. A dal 2008 októberében szivárgott ki, és azt pletykálták, hogy ez az album első kislemeze. Miután az album megjelenési dátuma évekig változott, 2008-ról 2011-re, Mel B 2012-ben úgy döntött, hogy eldobja az összes eddigi anyagot, és újrakezdi.
Eredetileg a dalt 2006-ban vette fel az amerikai lányegyüttes, a Danity Kane, „It’s Yours” címmel, a 2006-os, saját címmel ellátott debütáló albumuk felvételei során, de nem került fel a végleges számlistára. A dal 2008. augusztus 6-án szivárgott ki a YouTube-ra.
LIP LOCK 2010-ben Melanie B sorozatának egyik részében élőben adta elő, dal egy részét. Pletyka szerint az év végén jelent volna meg, mint harmadik album első kislemezként, de végül törölte, miután bejelentette, hogy a dal még nincs kész. Majd 2012-ben újra kezdte az albumot.
FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE Egy dal, amelyet az angol énekes-dalszerző, Mel B. írt. A dalt Brown, Tim Daniel McEwan, Lars Halvor Jensen, Gita Lake és Negin Djafari írta, a produceri munkát pedig a dán Deekay produkciós csapat végezte. A dal 2013. szeptember 19-én jelent meg az iTunes-on az SBB Records gondozásában. Ez volt Brown első kiadványa nyolc év után a 2005-ös "Today" után. A kislemezt Brown először az Ellen DeGeneres Show-ban jelentette be. A kislemez a 2. helyet érte el az amerikai Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs listáján.
